2000 Turnover Up 2.5%

The Compensation Practices Association of San Diego County, a group of approximately 40 member firms in manufacturing/research & development has completed its twenty-second annual Turnover Survey based on 2000 employment data.

Turnover among member firms was up sharply, 2.5% in 2000, to reach it's highest level since 1990.

Results of the twenty-two surveys were:

Turnover for the group is measured by totaling all separations during the year, not including reductions-in-force (layoffs), divided by the annual average employment.
